morgan is in d.c. and i saw her saturday evening, but she's crazy busy with a conference...

i can't wait until colin finally gets back on friday! then saturday we are going up to nj to see his gramma at her beach rental.

tea tea tea and a.p.'s

i am obsessed with arnold palmers... half iced tea half lemonade.

literally, if thats all i could drink for forever, i would probably be okay with that.

i am drinking a sort of weird one now made from the earl gray colin thought would make good iced tea (i'm still missing my parents version with old school lipton, made for icing) and the limeade that was in his fridge.

maybe i'll go to the grocery for some lipton tea bags later.

morgan, my best friend, is absolutely addicted to sweet tea.

i mean, this girl goes to college in tennessee, and now thinks that a hokey southern accent and sweet tea are her thing!

i don't begrudge her the tea, but the funny accent is hilariously bad sometimes. she swears she doesn't notice anymore when she does it, but i think it's all an elaborate ruse of hers.

my mom is actually from the south, but has lived in the midwest ever since college with my dad. she only slips in to her accent around her family when we visit them ( the ya'lls and ma'ams  come out in full force). needless to say my mom thinks morgan's accent is supa fake. 

you know how people from london can tell when they're speaking to someone from the burbs? or how austrailian people sound different than brits that sound different from say, south africans?

yeah. my mom thinks morgans accent is more alabama and cartoon than tennessee...

but what can i say. morgan is my best friend and i love her for her quirks.

as morgan's mom always says, i got to choose her, but her fam got stuck with her.

man. i am SO looking forward to sweet tea time with my bff all summer long. sweet tea and a.p. time!

i got a twitter. i have a feeling colin will make fun of me for this.

i really like this sweedish band, first aid kit...

their ep hasnt released in america yet, but i'm sort of jonesing for the cd from amazon.

they are sisters and recorded a bunch of their first songs in the sweedish forest behind their house.

and made this much blogged video cover of a fleet foxes song.

sometimes i am convinced i have vertigo.

i saw a doctor show once that said that mild to moderate vertigo is because you loosen crystals that grown in your ear and they rattle around and hit your ear in the place that helps you balance and makes you experience vertigo.

sometimes i feel like im really slowly spinning. even if i have eaten normally and gotten plenty of sleep.

maybe my crystals are wonky.

because i am spinning...

sometimes i think about weddings.
okay, alot of times when i am scooting around blogland i think about weddings.
this is not to say that i think about my own wedding... i mean, sometimes i do, but im not one of those girls who plans out her wedding waaaaay before she ever needs to.
mostly i just really, REALLY like looking at wedding pictures.
everyone is always so happy and glow-y.
i have never ever seen a wedding picture in the blog-o-sphere that was dour in the least.
i like looking at happy pictures because it distracts me from the crazy stress of art school.
and also because morgan and i have jokingly (and i really hope seriously) talked about having an event planning business after college. especially if we both end up in kansas city for awhile after school, even if temporary.
so i consider these wedding blogs research for future business practice.

i zapped my computer with a cup of coffee...
well actually, i would like to blame work for being so tiny and messy that it made the coffee spill on its own.
i wont know the extent of the damage until later tonight when i have my apointment with the apple people.
ugh. i know, however, that they do not cover accidental damage, so they wont fix it for free with apple care.
hopefully my harddrive isnt wet, in which case i can get my files back, but not my blogs. i really just want my harddrive and my itunes and my bookmarks back. gosh. i hate accidents.
