i zapped my computer with a cup of coffee...
well actually, i would like to blame work for being so tiny and messy that it made the coffee spill on its own.
i wont know the extent of the damage until later tonight when i have my apointment with the apple people.
ugh. i know, however, that they do not cover accidental damage, so they wont fix it for free with apple care.
hopefully my harddrive isnt wet, in which case i can get my files back, but not my blogs. i really just want my harddrive and my itunes and my bookmarks back. gosh. i hate accidents.

bad bad blogger

i've been a bad blogger...
but this semester has been rediculously rough.
i practically have no free time, and with what free time i do have i just crash and end up napping or zoning out on colin's couch.
mica's 2nd annual art market is coming up in december though, and im busily getting ready to sell alot of paper goods.
i'll imagine something interesting to write soon.

zucchini bread!

zucchini bread recipe!
this is my favorite of most favorites of breads... mostly because it is good hot or cold and keeps for a pretty long time (if you can keep any for later, usually it gets devoured right away.)
plus it's pretty darn easy...

ingredients:
3 cups all purpose whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
3 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
3 eggs, beaten
2 cups white sugar
3 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup veggie oil
3 cups grated zucchini (about 3-4 large zucchini usually)
1 cup chopped walnuts if you want

directions:
preheat your oven to 350 degrees ferenheight.
stir together flour, salt soda, cinnamon and baking powder.
stir together eggs, sugar, vanilla and oil. stir grated zucchini into the egg mixture.
mix the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients and mix well.
last, stir in the nuts if you would like them.
pour into 2 large greased loaf pans or one greased 13"x9" pan.
Bake at 350 degrees ferenheight for 1 hour, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

screen printed canvas yardage, made last semester
its over, martha stewart inc cancelled blueprint.
why does martha stewart always do this to her publicaitons?
i read in a press release last year that msinc wants to put more emphasis on the wedding sector of their magazine.
but why ruin such a good publication?

i went to see juno with my mom sunday night and i thought it was absolutely hilarious.
i have to buy it on dvd when it comes out.
on top of having on par humor for a subject that could easily become touchy, kimya dawson wrote alot of the songs on an already killer soundtrack. who knew the moldy peaches would be used as sound track music?
psh.
i started the gemma beret and i already think i have to frog it. i think now im going to knit it with two strands to give it a little heft, because the mohair blend is not cutting it on the thickness factor. man oh man. im excited for this, but ive forgotten how little give mohair has. bleck. well, at least the beret will be pretty when its done.
also, i have plans to make a double pointed needle case because my mom bought be a whole set practically of double points for christmas to add to my already sizable needle stash.
